Venue Hire in Macclesfield

Looking for venue hire in Macclesfield? We welcome artists, arty party-goers looking for a quirky venue, groups and clubs to hire a space exclusively for one-off events or regular art groups during periods that the space is open. See here for our location.

Our spaces include:

• A Creative Craft Room
• A Sewing Room equipped with several sewing machines and an overlocker
• A “Messy” Art Room
• Woodworking facilities
• A large space, with a maximum capacity of 100 people spanning the length of ArtSpace, with kitchen, seating area and toilets

Examples of current hirers of the space include:

• Local groups using the large space to create community projects.
• A local school has rented the large space to build a sound installation
• A local artist runs regular sessions for home educated young people
• Local artists regularly rent our art room to run a variety of workshops. 

We provide tables and chairs plus basic refreshments and use of the kitchen area and toilets are included. Other materials and even specialist equipment may be available on request.

Our smaller rooms can be hired at a rate of £15 an hour.

We are currently decluttering, tidying and undergoing some repairs to the area. Please enquire about renting our larger space for group activities or parties via the contact details below.

You will be asked to provide your own workshop materials unless otherwise agreed and plan and deliver your session or event. ArtSpace will support you in promoting your workshops. Please treat the place with respect and tidy up as much as possible afterwards.

Alternatively you can drop in to use the space and materials for your own individual art project during our opening hours for a suggested donation of £4 or join a regular drop-in. ArtSpace is a friendly community space so we’d love to have you!
